Description

W.F. Botkin is seeking a Groundperson for our Crushing Crew. This position is responsible for efficiently cleaning the plant conveyors and its surrounding areas; performing various related tasks, including physical labour and maintenance  

Duties:
-Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures on site and report hazards or incidents
-Assist in the day-to-day operation of crusher
-Follow foreperson direction on daily tasks and expectations of the project
-Operating a skid steer
-Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
-Perform manual labour including shoveling under belts and clearing debris
-Conduct routine maintenance: greasing, checking belts, cleaning work areas

Qualifications:
-1-2 years of crushing experience is an asset.
-Previous experience in construction, aggregates, or skid steer operation is an asset
-Minimum age of 18 as per the Saskatchewan Employment Act
-Valid drivers license to get to and from work
-Ability to perform strenuous, physical tasks daily
-Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in rugged environments
-Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
-Flexibility to work out of town for extended periods of time, and overtime is needed
-Steel-toe safety boots are required
