Description

Identify and analyze system issues, recommend solutions, and lead implementation of preventative improvements.
Document, map, and analyze business processes to support system enhancements and operational changes.
Apply business improvement methodologies (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to strengthen workflow efficiency, consistency, and measurable outcomes.
Coordinate and implement new RMS technical projects with technology vendors and agency stakeholdersmanaging system testing, scheduling, and deliverables.
Translate fire service operations into a fit for purpose RMS solution that is integrated (CAD/GIS/550), compliant, and data sound.
Extract, validate, interpret, and present data from the FDM database and WIIN platform to support Fire Marshal reporting, strategic planning, and operational decision making.
Collaborate with fire departments, municipalities (including City of Regina), and internal SPSA units to share data, ensure accuracy, and maintain up to date mapping and infrastructure information.
Manage vendor performance by establishing and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Oversee, review, and evaluate contractor/consultant activities to ensure alignment with SPSA standards.
Lead user group meetings, participate in training/workshops, and coordinate project schedules and timelines.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including subject matter experts, application developers, architects, and operational staff.
Promote shared understanding through process maps, SIPOC diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria to reduce ambiguity and strengthen system adoption.
