The Town of Foam Lake is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Summer Student to join our Public Works team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, takes initiative, and is eager to learn how municipal operations support a vibrant, well maintained community.

Position Overview
The Public Works Summer Student supports a wide range of municipal maintenance tasks throughout the summer season. This position provides valuable experience in municipal operations, outdoor maintenance, and teamwork within a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
    Assist with park, cemetery, and campground maintenance, including:
o    Grass cutting and trimming
o    Watering flowers
o    General grounds upkeep
    Support the collection and disposal of compost
    Assist with water and sewer duties, including water meter reading
    Provide general labour support to the Public Works team as assigned
    Contribute to a safe, positive, and productive work environment

    Strong willingness to learn and participate in a variety of tasks
    Ability to work efficiently in changing environments
    Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
    Positive attitude with initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic

Requirements
    Current Class C Drivers Licence
    Ability to perform physical, outdoor work in varying weather conditions
