Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Registered Pharmacy Technician at our Food Store and Clinic locations in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Managing inventory.
Maintaining patient records.
Prescription packaging and verification.
Transferring prescriptions.
Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions.
Compounding as per NAPRA standards of practice.
Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of personal health information.
Participation in medication management for long term care.
Complying with pertinent pharmacy legislation and NAPRA standards of practice.
Educating patients according to scope of practice.
Preparing and submitting insurance claims.
General housekeeping duties.
All other duties as assigned.
Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, and training requirements.
You are a graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution.
You have current licensure and good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
You have 1-3 years of prior experience.
