Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul production and packaging equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, DC controls, conveyors, pumps, filters, agitators, motors, and gearbox.
-Champion the safety program by identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and incidents, and supporting investigations and corrective actions.
-Perform preventive maintenance and assist in developing and executing PM schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).
-Read and interpret drawings, manuals, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with provincial and federal safety regulations, codes, and standards.
-Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications & Skills
-Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
-Industrial Electrician License or relevant electrical/millwright experience is an asset.
-Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on work ethic.
-Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold staff accountable.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and commitment to supporting operations.
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritizing skills.
-Proficient in Computer and Microsoft Office applications.
