Job Order Detail

Description

-Operation of heavy equipment in underground development and production areas, including manual and remote mucking.
-Assist in the installation and removal of reamers, moving raise bore drills and construction equipment required for backfilling of raises and stopes.
-Daily operator care rounds.

Requirements of the position:
-minimum grade 12 education or equivalent;
-three to five years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge;
-successful completion of underground training modules;
-good reading, writing and communication skills are essential;
-ability to work in an underground environment;
-excellent safety and attendance record; and
-rotating day shift/night shift schedule

Assets:
-Underground equipment operating experience.
