Description

We are looking for Substitute Garage Helper/Partsperson at the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division Bus Maintenance Facility.  Varied hours and frequency - on an "as needed" basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Practice safe work procedures at all times.
Answer telephones, pass information on to bus drivers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
Maintain parts inventory and ensures parts area is clean, neat and well-organized.
Coordinate van bookings.
Prepare work orders.
Operate and maintain the fleet maintenance program.
Perform bus driving duties as required.
Comply with any and all applicable Board Policies, guidelines and practices, and legislation and regulatory requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
Typically, the required knowledge, skills and abilities are obtained through successful completion of Grade 12 coupled with experience working in a garage setting.
Must possess and maintain a valid Class 1  5 drivers license with school bus endorsement.
