Key Responsibilities
-Maintain and continually improve a quality assurance program
-Identify & set appropriate quality standards & parameters for products
-Maintain quality culture & conduct quality assurance training for all employees
-Set quality objective aligned with the business plan & create action plans to ensure target achievement
-Partner with purchasing and engineering to ensure quality compliance of supplied materials
-Lead & guide a team to achieve business objectives in a timely manner
-Ensure all required documentation is complete, maintained, & administered for the QA programs
-Perform root-cause analysis on quality issues, working with the team as required. Clearly outlining expectations & providing recommendations for improvement.
-Responsible for preparing data/trend analysis to determine quality issues & reduce defects
-Plan, lead, & perform QA Audits on finished products to ensure quality & customer satisfaction
-Support our customer service department, investigating warranty & customer issues
-Coordinate manufactured product testing and validation
-Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, supporting overall production/manufacturing
-Responsible for daily functions as set out in the QA practices and procedures
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
-Min of 5 years of QMS experience is required
-Lean manufacturing training or equivalent experience
-Excellent verbal & written communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
-Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
-Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong supervisory & leadership skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Supervisor experience is an asset
