Description

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and hard-working Class 1A Manual Truck Driver to join our team in Saskatoon. This position primarily involves operating a manual semi truck for roll-off bin delivery and removal.
Main Duties & Skills:
    Safely operate a manual transmission Class 1A truck to deliver and pick up roll-off bins
    Load, unload, and secure bins and materials properly
    Drive on highways, city streets, and gravel roads in all Saskatchewan weather conditions (snow, rough roads, steep grades, and other hazards)
    Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using a mobile app
    Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor
    Follow daily schedules provided on a mobile device and use Google Maps for navigation
    Secure loads using straps and tire chains when required
    Follow all commercial vehicle laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
    Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 10 lbs frequently, 25 lbs regularly, and up to 50+ lbs occasionally
Requirements:
    Valid Class 1A drivers license
    Minimum 3 to 5 years of commercial driving experience, including manual transmission
    Experience with roll-off bins is a strong asset
    Able to read, speak, and understand Grade 6 level English
    Must live in Saskatoon or surrounding area
    Reliable transportation to and from work
    Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused with a positive attitude
