Description

Tisdale Housing Authority manages a program and property services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The Housing Authority provides affordable housing to seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter in Tisdale and surrounding communities.  

The Housing Authority has an opportunity for a permanent, full time Building Services Worker, level 1 to join their team.  If you are a high energy team player, with good attention to detail, and take pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you!

The Position is responsible to:

Perform interior janitorial duties on a scheduled basis, as well as ground level exterior windows and doors
Maintain accurate inventory and coordinate requisition of cleaning supplies and materials
Assist with unit turnover, cleaning vacant units as required

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Knowledge of general safety practices for cleaning procedures, equipment, and products
Keep all janitorial equipment in good working order
Capability to maintain a high standard of appearance, safety, and security for tenants
Ability to deal tactfully and courteously, and establish and maintain positive working relations with co workers, tenants, and other service providers

Qualifications:
Grade 12 education, basic computer skills, and some related experience
Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload
A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
