Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse (RN) to provide occasional nursing coverage in our long-term care community.

This role is well suited to retired or semi-retired Registered Nurses who maintain an active license with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) and wish to remain connected to the profession without the commitment of regular full-time or part-time hours.

Shifts are offered on an as-needed basis, making this an ideal opportunity for nurses seeking flexibility, balance, and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to residents in accordance with standards of practice

Support resident health, safety, and quality of life

Administer medications and treatments as required

Collaborate with physicians and care team members

Complete required clinical documentation

Qualifications

Registered Nurse in good standing with CRNS

Previous nursing experience required (long-term care experience is an asset)

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Calm, compassionate, and resident-focused approach

Ability to work independently when required
