Description

Wild West Steelhead is a Canadian aquaculture operation, and is one of Canadas largest steelhead producers. Wild West Steelhead is located at Box 190 211-1st Avenue North Lucky Lake in Saskatchewan. Wild West Steelhead is currently looking for 3 full-time Fish Farm Workers (Processors) to start employment as soon as possible.  

Responsibilities of this position may include:

    Assist processing technicians in the operation of the fish farm
    Participates on the automated filleting line, including manual trimming, pin-boning and vacuum packaging of fillets.
    Participates at assigned work stations on the dressed processing line.
    Feed aquaculture stocks, vaccinate stocks, perform culling and marking or banding
techniques and report any observed irregularities in stocks
    Operate, maintain and clean processing equipment and other aquaculture equipment
    Keep daily records of inventory data and fish samples
    Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
    Prepare Aquaculture stocks for market

The wage starts at $23.01/hour and benefits include health and dental. Accommodation can be made available if required.  Candidates must posses a high degree of co-ordination and dexterity. This position is physically demanding and candidates must be physically fit. Training will be provided.
