Employer: HarvestGuard Agronomy
Location: Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Or Regina, Swift Current, Saskatoon.
Position Type: Part-time
Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Position Summary

The employer is seeking a part-time Pesticide Salesperson & Compliance Lead for its Moose Jaw location. The successful candidate will be designated as the Saskatchewan-certified responsible person for pesticide sales and will assist with the sale and distribution of PMRA-registered crop protection products to farmers and licensed dealers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance
Serve as the designated Saskatchewan-certified pesticide salesperson for the Moose Jaw outlet
Support compliance with The Pesticide Act and Regulations
Be available for regulatory inspections and compliance inquiries
Ensure sales activities comply with approved pesticide labels
Support required recordkeeping and compliance documentation

Sales Duties

Assist with in-store pesticide sales to farmers and licensed dealers
Respond to customer inquiries using label-approved information
Support customer account setup and order processing
Assist with wholesale dealer communications

Qualifications

Saskatchewan pesticide vendor/salesperson certification required
(or eligibility with commitment to obtain certification prior to commencement of sales)

Experience in agricultural input sales or farm supply operations

Knowledge of pesticide handling, storage, and sales compliance
Ability to work independently and responsibly

Additional Information

This role does not involve pesticide application or agronomic consulting
All sales activities must remain strictly label-compliant
This position supports provincial licensing requirements for a pesticide vendor and outlet

Wage
Competitive; commensurate with experience
