Chateau St. Michael's is a 93 room personal care home which is located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, offering independent living and intermediate care suites.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to assume a full-time position.
Reporting to the Chef, the cook will be responsible for the following duties:
    Preparation and delivery of meals and snacks for residents according to planned menus.
    Prepare foods for therapeutic/specialty diets according to planned menus.
    Ensure proper food handling and storage techniques.
    Adhere to time schedules for service of meals and snacks.
    Follow and comply with health and safety legislation and safe job procedures.
    Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
    Perform other duties, as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess Food Safe certification and will have experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare or retirement setting. Scheduled shifts may include weekend hours.
