This position provides sales, service and renewals of home, tenant, condo, auto and travel insurance for new & existing clients. This position also provides service and support for motor vehicle license issuing.
In order to maintain systematic growth, this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate & up to date files, documenting prospective activities, account status and sales/renewal activities.
Skills Needed To Be Successful In This Role:
-Knowledge of insurance products and capable of selling, reviewing and maintaining personal lines policies
-Experience in customer service, sales and working in an office environment
-Sales experience and dedication to continuing professional development
-Being able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
-Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) Level 1 License - minimum requirement
-Gr. 12 education
-Working knowledge of computer systems, including The Broker's Workstation and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook & Word)
-Must be bondable
-Employment suitability application approved by SGI Issuer Relations
-At least one year job related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
