Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to perform general maintenance and repair duties for our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in light electrical and plumbing work, drywall repair, painting, general repairs, landscaping, and be comfortable operating a truck and trailer. A valid Class 5 driverss license is required.

Main Responsibilities:

Operate company truck and trailer safely (Class 5 driverss license required)

Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks

Conduct light electrical work (e.g., changing light fixtures, bulbs, switches, troubleshooting minor electrical issues)

Perform light plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets, toilet repairs)

Drywall repair including patching holes, mudding, taping, sanding, and finishing

Interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and minor refinishing work

Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with TVs and basic electronics

Perform minor carpentry work

Repair doors, locks, hinges, handles, and hardware

Assemble and install shelves, fixtures, and furniture

Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs

Landscaping duties (lawn mowing, trimming, weeding, planting)

Snow removal (shoveling, salting, operating snow removal equipment)

Garbage and debris removal

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment

Replace filters (furnace, air systems) as required

Pressure washing walkways and exterior areas

Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored

Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
