This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 90 days.
Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routing daily warehouse functions such as:
-Issue materials from mill and outside storage warehouse.
-Off load incoming general freight and prepare/load material for off-site shipping.
-Maintain stock records and files on manual and computerized systems.
-Other duties as required.
Requirements of the position:
-grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
-minimum of one-year direct warehouse experience;
-equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
-valid class 5 drivers license;
-excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-experience using a handheld device to perform daily warehouse activities;
-experience with computers and computer software (Microsoft Office suite);
-night shift and underground work as required; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
-forklift and loader operator certification;
-SAP experience; and
-previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
