POSITION OVERVIEW
WDN is seeking a talented and motivated Accreditation Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to support the Whitecap Dakota Nations Health & Social Development Department. The Accreditation Coordinator oversees the Accreditation process and serves as the primary contact between Accreditation Canada and Whitecap Health Centre. The Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for accessing the Organization Portal, entering information on the Portal, and ensuring organizational information is accurate and up-to date. The Accreditation Coordinator also helps coordinate the questionnaires and organizes logistics for the on-site survey.
KEY DUTIES
Manage, maintain and coordinate the Accreditation process.
Collaborate and work directly with Accreditation Canada to develop a detailed work plan for achieving accreditation.
Inspect records/reports and maintain historical directives.
Develop and maintain a database that conforms to accreditation standards and measures (proof of compliance).
Liaise between the Health Centre Director, managers, staff, Accreditation specialist and on-site surveyors.
Provides accreditation training for agency personnel as needed.
Revise current written directives as needed to conform with accreditation standards.
Ensures that revised policies are reviewed by staff, managers and directors.
Ensures all annual and/or time sensitive reviews, reports, audits and inventories are completed as required.
Organize, prioritize and assign tasks to other Health Team members.
Keep informed about changes in standards and recommend policy adjustments as needed.
Provide written reports on results to Director to be shared with Leadership and community.
Provide receptionist relief for Receptionist breaks and provide coverage when required.
