Description

The Public Service Commission is the central human resource agency for the Government of Saskatchewan, providing leadership, policy direction, staffing, classification, labour relations, and organizational development support. Within the Commission, the Talent branch focuses on attracting, developing, and managing the public service workforce. The branch is offering two permanent Talent Attraction Consultant positions to support the Ministry of Community Safety through the Community Safety Talent Attraction Team, delivering endtoend staffing and sourcing services. Positions may be based in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, or Regina.

They are seeking highly capable team players who are passionate about ensuring the right people with the right skills are recruited at the right time. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruitment or staffing consultant who is proactive, attentive, and able to assess challenges while providing expert advice. You communicate clearly, work independently, present confidently, and build strong relationships with clients, candidates, and partners. You also have the ability to interpret collective agreements, policies, and procedures and provide sound staffing guidance. Human Resources education paired with experience in talent attraction is typically required, with relevant combinations considered.

Key skills include consulting with clients on talent needs, enabling hiring managers through training and coaching, advising on job competencies and recruitment tools, and identifying process improvements. The role also involves collaborating across PSC teams and contributing to initiatives within the Talent branch and government.
