The Administrative Assistant Facilities / Human Resources performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Manager of Project Services and the Human Resources Supervisor.
The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 or equivalent standing and completion of a Diploma or Certificate program from a recognized business education program. A combination of relevant education and work experience may be considered. A minimum of two years of related experience is required, including experience with budgets, accounting processes, and computerized accounting programs. Experience in planning, design, construction, or a related work environment will be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficient knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and PowerPoint, with above average competency in Excel. Familiarity with, or the ability to learn, platforms such as CLVR, Atrieve, AutoCAD, and AppliTrack is required.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and analyze information effectively. They will demonstrate strong accuracy in data entry, document preparation, and scheduling tasks, and be able to manage competing priorities while working independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate must maintain discretion and handle sensitive information in compliance with organizational and Human Resources standards.
