Position Summary
Were seeking a motivated Engineering Technologist to support the planning, design, construction, operation, and upkeep of the Citys water and sewer systems. Youll take on advanced technical work that helps ensure safe, reliable services for our community. Youll manage complex data, support engineering analysis, guide infrastructure planning, and oversee field programs that keep our water and sewer networks performing. Youll also review designs, supervise staff and contractors, and contribute to the development of standards and best practices.
What You Bring
- Diploma in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering Technology
- Two years of experience in water, sewer, or related technical fields
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and infrastructure operations
- Advanced GIS/CAD skills (ArcView, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Experience with sampling, field testing, and database management
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, GIS tools, and databases
