Position Summary
Youll design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate programs for a variety of age groups and community needs. Working with staff, volunteers, and partner agencies, youll ensure programs run safely, smoothly, and in alignment with departmental standards while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
What You Bring
- Postsecondary education in Recreation, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field
- Minimum one year of experience delivering recreation, sport, culture, or community programs
- Strong skills in program planning, behaviour management, customer service, and evaluation
- Ability to lead, supervise, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, safe atmosphere
- Computer proficiency in scheduling, registration, and standard office software
- Valid drivers license, Standard First Aid & CPRC, and availability for nonstandard hours
