Job Summary

Grant Hall Dining Room & Lounge is looking for energetic, positive, and guest-focused servers to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who truly loves people, takes pride in hospitality, and enjoys creating memorable dining experiences.
We are building a team that values passion, teamwork, and genuine service. Experience is an asset, but the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most, we will provide training.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
Deliver a welcoming, polished dining experience from start to finish.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast and other POS systems.
Communicate clearly with Back of House, kitchen, and events/function team.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, tables, and service areas at all times.
Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with table maintenance, resetting, and overall restaurant presentation.
Respond to guest needs professionally and positively.
Uphold Grant Halls service standards and guest-first culture.

What Were Looking For

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset, but not required.
Energetic, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
Genuine passion for guest service and hospitality.
Enjoys talking with people and building guest connections.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a professional dining environment.
Familiarity with Toast or other POS systems is an asset.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through effective sales techniques.
