Duties
Supporting the emergency preparedness and response readiness of Saskatchewan First Nation communities.
Attend and support community meetings through all aspects of fire department capital projects
Test the training delivered by a variety of means including table-top exercises and exams
Work extended hours during emergency response events.
Review and assist with community Emergency Response Plans when asked to do so

Qualifications and Experience
NFPA 1001 Level 1-2 Certification
Experience in structural firefighting training and delivery of fire prevention programs would be an asset
NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor would be an asset
A Diploma in Emergency Management with field experience would be an asset.
Experience working with First Nation communities and organizations and familiarity with First Nation Culture, history, and governance.
Driver licence.
Class 3 drivers licence with air brake endorsement would be an asset
Incident Command Systems 100 and 200
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills are required for this position
Experience with Microsoft office programs and report writing
1031 Building Inspector would be an asset but not required.
