Description

The Nest Health Centre is seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Aid / Personal Support Worker to provide one-on-one assistance to an adult male client primarily in Saskatoon, with occasional travel to Regina when required.
This role involves personal care support, medication assistance, companionship, and light household duties. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a home setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Personal Care & Support
Assist with daily living activities (mobility, bathing, dressing)
Administer medications as directed
Support light exercise routines
Accompany client on walks and outings
Provide companionship and emotional support
Household Support
Prepare simple meals (including breakfast)
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning
Assist with basic cooking and household chores

Required Qualifications

Male candidate required (client-specific care needs)
Ability to speak Hindi or Punjabi (strongly preferred)
Valid drives license
Comfortable providing personal care
Reliable, respectful, and patient
Able to work independently
Willing to travel between Saskatoon and Regina when needed
Assets (Nice to Have)
Previous experience as a Care Aid, Support Worker, or similar role
First Aid / CPR certification
Experience working with seniors or individuals needing daily assistance

Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday, approximately 9:00 AM  5:00 PM
Flexibility required for occasional evening hours and overnight shifts
Willingness to travel to Regina when parents are present (preferred).
