Description

Reporting to the Director, Campus Operations & Capital Projects, the Senior Project Manager will have an integral role with Government communications and coordination regarding decision making for major capital project and program budget requests. The Senior Project Manager leads multiple capital infrastructure projects, providing leadership throughout all stages including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.

This role is accountable for the portfolio of capital projects and reporting on performance in relation to project and portfolio parameters, and ensures project deliverables, schedule, and budget are met. The Senior Project Manager builds relationships and collaborates with internal project sponsors and stakeholders as well as providing communication with government partners to balance strategic priorities and institutional capacity with internal resources. They provide leadership to a team of project liaisons/coordinators and collaborate with various divisions to ensure projects align with policies and strategic goals. The Senior Project Manager fosters a culture of teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and collective ownership for success.
