This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on work with leadership  and for Plant Operators ready to take that next step into supervision.

Plant Supervisor  Responsibilities

Oversee daily plant operations including receiving, grading, storage, and shipping
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate accurate, timely distribution
Work closely with logistics to manage shipments and schedules
Lead, coach, and support operators and maintenance staff
Provide performance feedback and development guidance
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Conduct safety meetings and training sessions
Manage preventive maintenance programs and support equipment uptime
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Partner with QA to maintain product quality standards
Maintain production records and prepare reports for leadership
Build strong relationships with suppliers, producers, and clients

Plant Supervisor  Qualifications

Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field (preferred, not required)
Experience in grain handling, ag processing, or manufacturing
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Knowledge of agricultural safety and compliance requirements
Comfortable with operational systems and reporting tools
Clear communicator with solid relationship-building ability
Physically capable of working in a grain environment
Hands-on, resourceful problem-solver
