Job Description: As a member of the team and under the general direction of the Manager, this position is accountable for the day to day operations of the department including program development, implementation, delivery and evaluation, supervision of team members, clinical case management, professional training, community education and development. The position requires the use of high order knowledge, clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to coach, mentor, orientate and provide education to the team members. Drawing on standards of practice for case management, professional codes of ethics and standards of practice in health care, program policy and procedures and, relevant legislation, the incumbent will ensure that the team provides high quality client service and standards of practice are maintained.

Education
- Recognized degree in Chemical Dependency, Social Work or equivalent program acceptable to the Employer
Experience
- Two years recent recognized (post-graduate) experience working in an Addiction Services Health Setting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrates strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
- A strong knowledge of the disease of chemical dependency/co-dependency and its effect on the family unit.
- Individual, group and crisis intervention/stabilization counselling skills.
