Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) is looking for a full-time Finance Manager.

Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial affairs of Canadian Western Agribition (CWA).  This includes development and maintenance of the annual budget, financial planning and reporting systems and management of the daily financial affairs of Agribition.

The Finance Manager is also responsible for the human resource files and procedures for Agribition employees including payroll, benefits, etc.

Financial Management
Develop annual budget and related documents for approval by the CEO and Board of Directors.
Implement and maintain financial planning and reporting systems and recommend upgrade/changes as required.
Manage daily financial affairs including invoicing, payables, bank reconciliations, processing credit card payments.
Produce regular financial statements.
Responsible for filing all Revenue Canada annual returns, T4s.
Responsible for updating current banking and signing authorities.
Perform year-end analysis, balancing and reconciliations for auditors.
Attend regularly scheduled executive and board meetings and act as main liaison for meeting preparation.

Information Systems

Computer liaison with IT companies.
Manage requests for equipment and software upgrades.
Program licensing renewals.

Human Resources

Process payroll for permanent staff and part time staff.
Manage staff benefit plan, insurance and liability and legal programs.
Maintain staff HR files, and Employee handbook updates.
Prepare semi-monthly payroll for part time staff.
Organize staff orientation.
Workers compensation inquiries.

Administration & Tickets

Coordinate printing of all tickets, passes, parking.
Main contact for security and gate contractor regarding gate issues, Photo ID system.
Main contact for box office regarding sales.
