About the Ministry  
The Ministry of Highways manages Saskatchewans transportation system, ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable mobility. Its work includes planning, building, maintaining, operating, and regulating transportation infrastructure, guided by values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

About the Team  
This role sits in the Strategic Planning and Budgeting Unit, which leads key components of the provinces Planning and Accountability Management System (PAMS). The unit oversees strategic and business planning, scorecards, enterprise risk management, business improvement, program reviews, business continuity, workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

About the Opportunity  
The ministry is hiring an 18month Planning and Performance Coordinator. The role supports program reviews, business improvement, workforce planning, business continuity, and enterprise risk management, while contributing to financial and strategic planning. It involves working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver and monitor ministrywide initiatives.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and skilled in research, analysis, communication, and facilitation. They can lead strategic projects, manage change, and work with diverse stakeholders. Strong writing skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to run group meetings are essential.

A degree in public or business administration (or related field), along with experience in improvement, innovation, strategic planning, or budgeting, is typically required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Applicants should clearly outline how they meet the requirements.
