Description

The Shift Supervisor position is open for an experienced and motivated individual interested in a leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment.

The Shift Supervisor supports daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and strong customer service, while also working scheduled shifts as a Gas Attendant or Cashier. This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines under the Kahkewistahaw Gas & Convenience Store Code of Ethics.


Key Responsibilities
- Act as a goodwill ambassador for the Kahkewistahaw Gas & Convenience Store and Petro-Canada
- Oversee daily operations and support strong customer service standards
- Work scheduled shifts as a Gas Attendant or Cashier
- Receive staff call-ins and assist with securing shift coverage
- Work open shifts when coverage cannot be found
- Provide guidance, support, and constructive direction to staff
- Assist with training, scheduling, shift coverage, and performance management
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all staff
- Professionally resolve customer questions and concerns
- Report discrepancies and incidents to management promptly
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and management

Evaluation Period
This position includes a three-month probationary period, followed by an evaluation upon completion.


Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
