We're looking for a reliable individual to join our Operations team as a Field Technician, providing on-site technical support and infrastructure installation services in Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation and surrounding region. Lexcoms Operations staff are interdependent agents who perform technical service and project work for Lexcoms clientele.

At Lexcom, Community Field Technicians are responsible for performing hands-on, technical fieldwork including hardware installation, structured cabling, wireless deployments, and physical infrastructure support, and work closely with the global operations team to ensure projects and service tasks are completed to Lexcoms standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Install and mount network equipment/related infrastructure.

Perform cable installation.

Assist with residential and business WISP installations as services expand.

Deploy and physically install computer/peripheral/phone equipment.

Perform basic network hardware replacements and upgrades under direction of senior technical staff.

Provide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's desktop and mobile applications.

Perform workstation data migration.

Assist with troubleshooting by gathering diagnostic information on-site for remote analysts.

Infrastructure Maintenance to a Standard.

Handle/transport equipment.

Qualifications:

Required:
Valid Class 5 Driver's license
Criminal Record Check

Preferred:
CompTIA: A+, Network+ | Microsoft: MS900
