Description

Our Regina Components team is looking for a qualified technician (heavy equipment, agriculture, truck and transport, automotive or apprentice) to clean, rebuild and inspect components. This will be a fulltime permanent position based in the shop on a 7x7 continuous shift.

Job Description:
-Troubleshoot and repair equipment
-Component rebuild
-Condition reporting
-Verifying components due to CAT reusability guidelines
-Clean and inspection of components
-Operation bench testing pieces
-Operation of engine dynos
-Interface with customers, product, and sales support
-Working with supervisors on various tasks
-Equipment and facility continuous improvements
-Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
-Various related duties as required

Qualifications:
-Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Agriculture, Automotive)
-Apprentices will be considered based on experience
-Dedication to safety
-Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
-Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
-Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
-Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
-Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets

-A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
