Duties include:
Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
Erecting scaffolding using hand and power tools, such as hammers, wrenches, and drill guns
Assist tradespersons in construction activities.
Ensuring that scaffolding is set up according to safety standards and regulations
Monitoring the work area for hazards and taking appropriate precautions
The successful candidate must have a Journeyperson Scaffolder certificate. Fall Protection, WHMIS/SCOT, Fire Extinguisher, Confined Space certificates are assets.
This position is located at a remote mine site in Northern Saskatchewan. The shift is a 2-weeks on, 2-weeks off rotation, 11-hour workdays with overtime after 8 hours and on weekends.
The successful candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and complete the required training prior to going to site. It is the responsibility of the candidate to get themselves to one of our fly-out points.
