- Administers recruitment processes from job postings to applicant management through the competition process
- Prepares employment offers and onboarding packages, ensuring all pre-employment requirements are completed
- Maintains recruitment and onboarding systems including updating templates, managing users, and providing support
- Supports payroll and entitlement administration by compiling timesheets and leave records, assisting with inquiries, coordinating payroll adjustments, and preparing entitlement reports and audits
- Processes temporary teaching permits and maintain substitute and casual employee lists
- Provides administrative support to Human Resources, including preparing correspondence and reports and assisting the HR Manager with scheduling and travel arrangements
Requirements:
- Office Administration Certificate/Diploma
- 2-3 years of related experience (considered an asset)
- Strong planning, organizing, and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivation
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel) and general computer applications
- Experience with HRIS, databases, and office equipment
- Maintains confidentiality
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills
- Willing to engage in ongoing learning to meet job requirements
- Accurate typing skills
