LINEHAUL DISPATCH

LOCATION: REGINA FREIGHT DIVISION
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is one of the largest freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. As a subsidiary of The Mullen Group, we provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province.  We are proud to continue a 60-year history of serving companies and individuals throughout Saskatchewan.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4pm-1am; on call until 6am
Responsibilities:
    Line up daily dispatch for all line haul moves
    Notify line haul drivers of dispatch
    Notify all terminal managers of dispatch
    Notify shop of any vehicle and trailer break downs or issues
    Arrange truck switches when necessary.
    Relay driver concerns to terminal manager
    Track trailer and keep a balance of trailer in the major centers
    Do a nightly singles report
    On call for drivers until 6 am and weekends. Manifest outbound trailers for Regina Freight
    Back up for city dispatch night pickups
    Attend meetings as required

Qualifications:
    Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
    Deal effectively with the public, outside agencies and co-workers
    Must be detail oriented
    Excellent computer skills
    Strong organizational and time management skills
    Be able to multi-task and be willing to learn
