Description

The Saskatchewan Firearms Office is hiring Program Assistants in Saskatoon to support the administration of the Federal Firearms Act and promote safe, responsible firearms licensing and regulation. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you will manage office operations, provide client service to Firearms Officers, the public, businesses, and partner agencies, and work closely with police, RCMP, and court services. The role requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Key duties include general office administration, records management, mail processing, purchasing, responding to inquiries, preparing reports and legal documents, tracking cases and expenditures, processing applications and decisions, interpreting legislation, and supporting financial tasks such as invoicing and auditing.
