Description

At Prairie Clean Enterprises (PCE), were turning flax straw  an underused agricultural byproduct  into valuable bio-based materials
for a variety of high-value products, ranging from flax fibre and flax pellets for retail products to fuel pellets made from flax straw.
and were looking for dependable, hands-on team players to help make that happen.

As a Production Plant Operator, youll play a key role in the daily operation of our plant and yard  loading, unloading, and processing
materials like flax straw and mulch using specialized equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate heavy equipment like telehandlers, tractors, forklifts, grinders, screeners, and other material processing equipment.
Keep the yard and work areas tidy, safe, and well-organized.
Load straw bales into processing equipment to keep production flowing smoothly.
Perform daily safety checks and routine maintenance on machines.
Report mechanical or safety issues to the site supervisor right away.
Work alongside a team to coordinate tasks and support smooth operations.
Safely load and unload trucks, including those operating on public roads.
Help plan material staging to maintain consistent process flow.
Perform manual material handling tasks, including shovelling, stacking bags of pellets, and wrapping finished material.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment through routine plant clean-up and housekeeping tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Willingness to work various shifts  including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs
A collaborative attitude  someone whos dependable and easy to work with.
