Northeast Regional Victim Services is a non- profit organization which works in cooperation with the R.C.M.P. to provide assistance to victims of crime and traumatic events. Position may require an instantaneous change from a stable calm environment to a highly charged or stressful atmosphere as a result of a crisis occurring within the area of service.
Responsibilities of the successful applicant include effective delivery of information, support, advocacy, and links to other resources. The Coordinator is responsible for supervision of the day to day work of the assistant coordinators, administrative assistant and the volunteers. The three main detachments are Tisdale, Melfort and Nipawin however the program covers the entire Northeast Region and the position requires extensive travel within the region.

Qualifications:
- Strong supervisory skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and coordinate both staff and volunteers on an ongoing basis
- Must hold valid drivers license and provide own vehicle.
- Must pass an Enhanced Reliability R.C.M.P. Security Clearance check
- Must have the ability to work on call both evenings and weekends, as well as work flexible hours
- Degree in Human Science or combination of education and related work experience will be considered an asset
Salary will be based upon the Sask Justice funding agreement.
