Description

NorthWind Forest Products is seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Operator to move product and material at the Glaslyn mill site.

Duties include:
- loading large trucks of various configurations with fence posts, rails, lumber, and firewood
- receiving and unloading of various products and materials delivered to NorthWind site
- proper accounting of shipped and received product and communication to office  
- responsible for safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader, including daily inspections, fluid top ups, greasing, and notifying maintenance personnel when repairs are required
- communicate with truck drivers to ensure proper load positioning and safety
- maintain organization of yard inventory, including treated and untreated wood products
- communicate with office regarding inventory issues
- assist treatment plant personnel by preparing loads for treatment and loading/unloading carts when required

REQUIREMENTS:
- demonstrated ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- demonstrated ability to have consistent attendance at work  
- ability to stay calm in stressful situations
- strong communication skills
- a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (to ensure consistent attendance at work)
- due to the safety sensitivity and skill required for this position, previous experience operating a front-end loader is required.
