Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Schedule Journeypersons based on skill, availability and job priority.
2. Adjust schedules daily for emergencies, delays or cancellations.
3. Communicate job details clearly to journeypersons before dispatch.
4. Track job progress throughout the day and reassign resources as needed.
5. Call customers to confirm appointments and updates.
6. Maintain an up-to-date dispatch board/software.
7. Ensure proper documentation and job notes are collected from
journeypersons.
8. Make sure safety rules and vehicle checks are done every day.
9. Coordinate with Clerk II - Bookkeeping to ensure all vehicles and safety paperwork is completed and organized.
10. Oversee inventory and reorder parts and materials as needed.
11. Coordinate with Clerk II - Bookkeeping to manage parts ordering and stock control.
12. Assist with MI9 and billing tasks as needed supporting Admin and Clerk II - Bookkeeping to ensure accurate and timely job invoicing and system entries.
13. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience with dispatching and bookkeeping. Good computer skills and previous plumbing experience considered an asset. Requires excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
