The Corporate Services Branch is offering an opportunity to shape the ministrys digital future by leading IT planning, business improvement, and major technology initiatives. The ministry is seeking someone who can enhance program quality through strong analysis, longterm technology planning, and effective guidance on the design and delivery of IT solutions.
They are looking for a collaborative Senior Business Analyst who excels at engaging crossfunctional teams and nontechnical clients. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, needs assessments, and process mapping. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with the capacity to consult, influence, and support stakeholders across government. Experience with SharePoint Online, D365, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps is an asset, as is the ability to lead application development initiatives and business improvement projects.
Key knowledge and skills include project management and system design methodologies; research and analytical capabilities; ability to manage complex IT projects through full lifecycle; and the skill to develop standards, policies, and training. A degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Computer Science is expected, with certifications such as CBAP or PMP preferred and at least three years of related experience.
If space allows, responsibilities include analyzing processes, identifying risks and opportunities, managing IT projects, supporting system issues, developing documentation, and representing the ministry on crossgovernment IT committees.
