The Role
Cameco has a great opportunity available for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to be a part of a diverse procurement team. You will be responsible for supporting all of Camecos Canadian operations on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you will:
-Source a range of materials, equipment and services and interact closely with internal and external stakeholders.
-Contribute to value creation from procurement activities, act as a service provider to our partners at our Canadian operations, as well as participate in the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures.
-Source best overall value to meet internal customer needs, generate and expedite purchase orders in an SAP environment, develop and execute contracts and manage vendor on-time delivery.
-Conduct request for quotations (RFQ) and request for proposals (RFP) as needed.
-Identify and resolve blocked invoices to ensure efficiency in the procure-to-pay process.
-Assist in onboarding new suppliers and maintaining supplier databases.
-Ensure adherence to internal controls, procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
-Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Required:  
-bachelors degree in business, commerce or a related field;
-minimum three to five years of relevant work and SAP experience;
-equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills; and
-demonstrated expertise managing procurement activities for MRO supplies and services.
