Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Position and Responsibilities
-Perform maintenance and repair of all gasoline, diesel and propane powered automotive equipment, buses and recreational vehicles on site.
-Perform inspections and service equipment as specified by preventative maintenance work orders as well as troubleshooting equipment failures.
-Assist the heavy-duty mechanics in the maintenance of other mobile equipment.
Requirements of the position:
-valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson automotive service technician certificate;
-five years related experience in an industrial, mill or mining environment;
-Ford-trained mechanic and Ford integrated diagnostic system experience;
-rim and tire safety training; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
-recreation vehicle service technician certificate;
-heavy duty equipment technician certification; and
-SAP experience.
