Description

We are currently seeking an individual to fill a full-time, permanent position. The Maintenance Office Coordinator is an in-scope position reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and coordinates services between tenants, housing authority staff, and external contractors. This ensures tenant needs are met within SHA policies and guidelines.

Scope of Work:
-Effectively assess and complete required clerical duties outlined by the manager/supervisor.
-Ensure all calls for service are handled effectively and efficiently.
-Track and record all completed, and outstanding work orders; also provide a monthly report to the manager/supervisor.
-Effectively and respectfully communicate with tenants, contractors, and SHA staff.
-Maintain files and records accurately.
-Provide cover-off for the Maintenance Office Coordinator during periods of absence, or as assigned.
-Other clerical duties, as assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Requirements:
-Grade 12 or equivalent.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Working knowledge and/or experience dealing with the "Residential Tenancies Act."
-Will require a clear criminal record and vulnerability check.
