Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as a Tower Operator.

-This job is required for travel but also can be local around Prince albert.
-This position is full time based  

Job Description: Crushing Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
    Report to project managers and supervisor  
    Complete daily precheck and safety related tasks
    Manage the continuous feed of material through the crusher from the plant control tower
    Ensure quality of desired product  
    Maintain communication with loader operators
    Maintain accurate records and logs
    Perform inspections throughout shift
    Perform regular machinery inspections and general/preventative maintenance
    Maintain cleanliness of work area
    Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations
    Must follow all safety procedures

Competencies
Skills and Knowledge:
-Thorough knowledge of company Gravel Crusher Plant and its processes
-Thorough knowledge and understanding of Companies safety procedures and their
-Ability to problem-solve and maintain composure if unexpected or undesirable situations arise

Qualifications
-2 Years experience as Gravel Crusher Operator (less, if in training)
-First aid/CPR
