Description

The Weyburn Housing Authority offers safe, affordable housing to those most in need in the community.   The Housing Authority has an opportunity for a full-time Tenant Services to join their team!  

If you have excellent problem solving and organizational skills, can multitask, thrive in a team environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to the community, this position will be of interest to you!

The Position:

Process housing applications, conduct income reviews, calculate rental fees and collect rent
Prepare and explain leasing agreements and expectations of tenancy
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes
Manage tenant and public inquiries, problems, complaints, and concerns

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Ability to manage stressful situations, problem solve, and manage conflict
Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Exceptional client relations skills and the ability to deal tactfully and courteously with tenants, employees and the public

Qualifications:

Grade 12 minimum with experience working in a Human Services and/or property management environment
Preference will be given to those with post-secondary focused on Human Services
Proven administration, record keeping and Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience with JD Edwards is an asset
A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
