Description

Degelman Industries LP is looking for individuals to join our team as a Welder Level I. If you are looking for a career in manufacturing, then join a vibrant growing company in the agricultural manufacturing industry. Degelman Industries designs and manufactures equipment known for quality, toughness and reliability preferred by farmers for over 60 years.

Purpose of the Job:
To mig weld metal components together to fabricate agriculture implements in a production line environment using drawings and fixtures.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
    Jig and weld metal components efficiently with quality to meet or exceed established welding standards.
    Must maintain an excellent attendance record.

Other duties and responsibilities:
    Forklift operation.
    Grinding and preparation work.
    Operation of cutting torch.

Knowledge and Skills:
    One-year Pre-Employment Welding Course or equivalent job experience.
    Must effectively communicate.
    Must be able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
    Have good manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
    Be able to interpret ideas and plans into practical applications.
    Must be able to pass a CWB weld test.

Working Conditions:  
    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    Some exposure to welding fumes and sparks.
    Shift work is required.
    Relevant training will be provided.
