Description

Mazurek Industries is a welding and machining shop in Carrot River that requires a full time permanent Journeyperson and / or apprentice welder who is looking for challenging work on a wide variety of equipment servicing for numerous industries.

Fabrication skills are a strong asset. Journeyperson papers are an asset but not necessary, if the chosen candidate wishes to further their education in the welding industry, apprenticeship can be discussed.

Job description

- Use all types of welding processes Mig, Stick, flux core, Tig, oxy/acetylene welding, brazing
- Welding various types of materials mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast, chrome
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals, and processes
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- Repetitive tasks

- Weight handling - Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
