The Role We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing team in Swift Current. . The Material Handler identifies, transports, packages, removes and disposes of materials in accordance with Safe Work Procedures. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills and will also be capable of responding quickly to the ever-changing production needs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily checks for equipment and complete check sheets
Pick and fill workstations:
Deliver materials on time
Record all materials transferred to work stations
Receive materials, and complete paperwork by deadline
Perform accurate cycle counts
Perform other tasks as assigned
Generate all shipping, (both domestic and export) and receiving documentation
Qualifications

Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent
Experience in material handling, or previous comparable job experience
Competent in the safe operation of a forklift
Ability to measure raw stock
Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel programs
Strong organizational skills
Above average math skills
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively
